Say hello to the predictive cash flow module!

We have implemented the predictive cash flow model on our prebuilt accounting solution.

Cash is more KING than ever!

It is imperative to manage your cash flow no matter what type of business you are in. Predicting cash flows is never an easy thing which is why we decided to implement it! The model that represented real world cases the best is our behavior model which learns from the customer’s payment behaviors on different product types on an invoice line.

The cash flow prediction model interprets the behavior of income and expenses payments based on historical data and utilizes supplier payment date and the latest bank feed data to increase or decrease the bank balance, accordingly, providing you with a prediction of your cashflow for a three-month period.

Prediction Model Data Feeds:

  • Trade Receivables (predicted when 15+ invoices have been sent and paid by the customer)
  • Trade Payables (based on payment date)
  • Expenses (based on 3 months historical data)
  • Bank balance (based on latest bank feed refresh date)

You can analyze your prediction via company, customer and predicted month. We also provide a breakdown of the actual predicted receivables, payables and expenses with predicted dates.

Predictive Cash Flow Exceptions

The predictive model aims to change behavior and thus support you to better manage your cash flow based on behavioral patterns and the model will learn and adapt as these behaviors change. The model does not recreate the prediction on predicted events that did not occur as predicted but instead provides you with their exceptions so that you can affect change i.e. collect from a customer with the reason that they would generally have paid at this time.

The exception view provides you with a breakdown of #customer, # customer invoice, receivable amount, #suppliers, #supplier invoices and payable amounts that should have been paid based on historical behaviors.

You can sort any of the lists based on date or invoice amounts to support your analysis.

We hope you find the cashflow prediction model useful in changing your customer and perhaps your own behaviors.
